Erin collaborates with nonprofit leaders to increase capacity through hands-on support and consultation. Her expertise includes fundraising strategy and services, including individual giving, fundraising events, prospect research, database management, and grant writing.
With a background in “small shop fundraising,” Erin understands the unique needs of small nonprofit organizations and has a passion for supporting underserved populations. She has worked with independent schools and organizations supporting the deaf and hard-of-hearing community, those with intellectual disabilities, veterans, and older adults.
Since joining Pear Associates in 2020, Erin has provided fundraising support and grant writing to YWCA NH, The Haven Project, Project Hope Boston, Deutsches Altenheim, Partners for Youth with Disabilities, Rehearsal for Life, and YouthBuild Boston.
Erin earned a Master of Science in Nonprofit Management and Philanthropy, a graduate certificate in Strategic Fundraising from Bay Path University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Framingham State University.
In November 2022, Erin was awarded CFRE (Certified Fund Raising Executive) credentials- the world’s only accredited certification for philanthropic fundraising professionals. The CFRE signifies that Erin is a confident, ethical fundraising professional committed to making a difference for good.
Erin and her husband, Jon, a senior non-commissioned officer in the Massachusetts Air National Guard, live in Plymouth, MA, with their two young daughters and two rescue dogs.
Fun fact- before beginning a career in nonprofit fundraising, Erin worked as a professional dog groomer.
