Christine Guarino

Christine is a mission-driven professional who has spent her entire career helping to build resources within nonprofit organizations. She brings over 15 years of experience to her role at Pear Associates. As a consultant, Christine supports clients in grant writing and strategic planning, and has experience working in the human services, education, and healthcare sectors. At Pear Associates, Christine has worked with a range of organizations including Jumpstart, The Community Group, Boston Children’s Hospital, and the International Rett Syndrome Foundation. She is particularly interested in programming related to early childhood development, new parent support, food insecurity, and education. 

Prior to joining Pear Associates, Christine spent seven years at Jewish Family & Children’s Service as the Director of Institutional Giving. In this role, Christine worked across 40 programs to increase corporate, foundation, and government support, and partnered with colleagues to develop programs and plans for expansion. Christine’s prior experience includes working in executive search at Lindauer Global, grant writing at The Guidance Center / Riverside Community Care, and working as a program manager at Best Buddies Massachusetts. Christine began her career as a volunteer teacher in a rural community in Namibia. 

Christine holds a BA in English from St. Anselm College and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Lesley University. She lives in Framingham with her husband and two children.
