Christine Guarino

Senior Consultant

Christine is a mission-driven professional who has spent her entire career helping to build resources within nonprofit organizations. She brings over 15 years of experience to her role at Pear Associates. Christine’s experience working in the human services, education, and healthcare sectors gives her a broad perspective that she brings to every client engagement.

In any client engagement, Christine strives to bring a proactive and strategic approach to her work, lending her expertise as a thought partner to each client.

Before joining Pear Associates, Christine spent seven years at Jewish Family & Children’s Service as the Director of Institutional Giving. In this role, Christine worked across 40 programs to increase corporate, foundation, and government support, and partnered with colleagues to develop programs and plans for expansion. Other past experience includes working in executive search at Lindauer Global, grant writing at The Guidance Center / Riverside Community Care, and as a program manager at Best Buddies Massachusetts. Christine began her career as a volunteer teacher in a rural community in Namibia.

Christine holds a BA in English from St. Anselm College and a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from Lesley University. She lives in Framingham with her husband and two young children, who are slowly turning her into a sports fan, though she remains primarily a bookworm.
